I am proudly an Asian Canadian Male. My roots trace back to Southern China and Indonesia.
My Grandparents on my mother’s side moved to the USA in the 80s and then over to Europe. Finally settling back for retirement in Indonesia. My Mother came to Canada to attend post-secondary & where she met my father.
My Grandparents on my father’s side came from Guandong & Hong Kong area In the 1970’s where they took over a small corner shop in the Gorge area called Brookman’s. There, they raised 4 boys including my dad. The shop was a Saanich heritage building & eventually turned into a retirement home.
